Sweet Petites KC has been around since 2006, formerly known as Babycakes. It’s located in the historic River Market district of Kansas City, MO, dedicated to providing the KC-area communities with freshly baked desserts made every day in our on-site kitchen. We’re a woman-owned and -operated business, and we’re proud to offer a menu of items that never compromises on quality or taste.
About the Owner
Lindsay Goff was born and raised in Kansas City and currently lives in Fairway, KS. She went to the University of Kansas seeking a major in Communications, and shortly after, she moved back to Kansas City, where she attended cosmetology school for a career as a hairstylist. She loved her time as a hairstylist. But after about 10 years, she decided to leave that career to become a stay-at-home mom for her premature twins. Baking was a self-taught hobby, but she found a fierce love for it when she stayed at home. It started as baking for parties, showers, and her husband’s office, but it quickly built up to so much more. Pretty soon, she got requests for her treats from family, friends, and strangers for events of all kinds. That was the beginning of Sweet Petites KC. When she’s not juggling baking, home renovations, and kids’ activities, you can find her with family and friends enjoying life.
